A very generous offer from the local RSA, a motorhome friendly town with no "freedom camping" available.
The offer to camp here overnight is to encourage you to use their restaurant, no compulsory but something you could consider. Do not cook outside your van and do not consume alcohol either as it breaches their liquor licence. Obey these suggestions or we could lose it.

Its very simply a carpark for the RSA restaurant.
So drive into the RSA and drive around the back . You will see a memorial in the corner of the carpark. Theres a KFC within very short walking distance. I pulled in on sunday evening and there was only one other camper so its really quiet. All the parking bays are for normal sized cars so my motor home stuck out a bit however it was so quiet that it didnt really matter. You are close to the road so although the road was quiet most of the night when a car would pass it woke me up.

A parking site from Waihi Memorial RSA next to the road, nearby all the facilities of the town, including shops and super market.
Only useful for an overnight stay, be prepared of a lot of machinery noise during the night coming on and off from one of the nearby buildings (we think). It could also come from road works during the night.
