Camped in a tent for one night.
Running water (not safe for drinking), clean flush toilets, and a stunning view. One of the few sites where we woke up to a dry tent due to the light breeze from the lake.

We were the only ones there overnight!
Even has a proper loo, recycling bins and hand basins!
A little bit of noise from the road overnight but a brilliant view to wake up to, over the lake.

Great place to stay for the night, very quiet and peaceful.
Great views at dusk and sunrise. Has toilets and two large sinks to wash up from dinner

Good road access in, two areas to choose from.
Toilets clean, area to wash dishes and there are bins. Although it says no dogs, there were plenty and all well-behaved. Great walk through the water race tunnel to grassed area on other side of road. The smell of thyme is devine. We parked up right next to the water, watched the bikers and runners across the lake on the Dunstan Trail. Although the road is adjacent, the noise was relatively quiet. We had great entertainment all day with families and jet boats, skiers, swimmers. Will definitely return to Champagne Gully.

This is a great little spot for an overnight stop.
A bit close to the road but not too noisy. We parked by the trees close to the water at the end . Not many others, clean , good flush toilets , wash basins and rubbish bins. Boat ramp and picnic tables.

Great location by the lake.
You can see the bike riders on the new Lake Dunston trail. A bit noisy as the road constantly has traffic. Maybe park down on the grass near toilets might be quieter. Rubbish bins there as well.

Great public toilet and recycling units.
Right by the lake. Nice spot but the road noise is constant. There is lots of room, 5 campers last night but all spread out with lots of space between them.

Lovely place for a night.
There was 6 other campers there but loads of space for us all. Clean bathrooms and sinks although no drinking water. it's by the road but the cars didn't keep us awake. Beautiful to wake up right beside such a gorgeous lake!

Beautiful spot to camp for free.
You can park right next to the reservoir. It is really easy to reach also with big campers. If you are into fishing, this can be done here too. Although the campsite was next to the state highway the traffic noise wasn't too loud. Unfortunately, the public toilets were closed when we arrived. Still we had a great time here.
