A great central spot but no facilities at all.
There are some great cafes in the vicinity and a very good bar just round the corner. We stayed for two nights and found the first night pretty quiet for a city centre however, the second night was very noisy with trucks entering and leaving the car park

Good in a pinch considering overnight campervan parking options are limited around Wellington but spaces are very tight though and there are no amenities.
Local bars and restaurants are basically on your doorstep which is a plus or minus depending how quiet or busy you like it.
Wouldn’t recommend staying more than one night.

Nice place with a SMALL Camper.
Ours was 7,5m so we couldn’t stay there. Only when you are about to pay via the website you get an information that bigger campers are not “recommended”to stay there. We ask the nearby coffee roasters if we could stay there and they said it’s not possible as trucks will arrive daily.

Me and my partner stayed here for a couple of nights and both thought it was super convenient for getting into town as your literally right in the heart of it parked off of Cuba street where there are
Late October 2022 review:
loads of shops, bars & restaurants. We paid the first night on the website advertised on the wall and as we got there around 1:30 in the afternoon we had a time limit to leave by 8am the next day and it cost $45 but if you got there around 4pm-8am it would be $35. The second night we used the prime parking app and extended our parking to 8:30am the next day which cost $47. Don’t think this is too bad considering your in the city & also have electrical hook up. The spaces aren’t huge & I can imagine in the summer this would fill up with vans & cars. One other van was parked near us each night & a couple of cars parked in other bays. As it’s just a car park with no toilets & showers, we went to Freyberg pool & fitness centre to get showers which was $6.90 to use the facilities and showers.
There were works being done on Garrett street (the road of the car park) which was a bit noisy and the workers were using the car park to turn around in until quite late (after 11pm) but as we’re on holiday we weren’t bothered about this too much as stayed up past 12 anyways.
After a couple of days we moved to the freedom car park on Evans Bay Marina just due to the cost but would definitely come back here again for a night or two.
AS OF THE 26th OF OCTOBER THE WORKERS ARE PUTTING IN A PORTA CABIN IN THE CAR PARK AND THIS IS TAKING UP AROUND 5 CAMPER SPACES SO MAY BE LIMITED PARKING.

Parking slot extremely narrow for large campervan (see photo) Nearest toilets are all closed, I had to walk 15-20 minutes to find one.

For an incredibly central Wellington location thought this was good.
$35 a night but did have power and bins and is literally just off the Cuba street . Was glad to have earplugs and eye mask though as lights on in car park all night and some city noise.

This is a car park not a camp site.
Power is available however. Very convenient for next morning ferry AND for going out in the evening - in the heart of Cuba street. Yes it is noisy because inner city... But then again had the inner city buzz. Limited motorhome places as they can be used by cars, about a dozen. The spaces are only car size but we were 7m long and fine... Then again carpark wasn't busy the Friday night we stayed late Oct. Would have no hesitation staying there again

I agree with others that this place is really difficult to rate.
Perfect for us as we wanted something central to go out in Wellington and really close to the ferry port. Downsides are that you are basically just camping in a car park in the city centre. This would have been ok had there been a toilet however the closest public toilet is a 5-10 minute walk. Not great if you need a wee in the middle of the night. You have to pay at a ticket machine and it doesn't accept notes so you either need lots of change or have to use your card.

Location is the highlight of this place.
Winter review:
If you want to gallery hop/shop/sample the many bars, cafés, restaurants this is the spot for you
Smack bang in the very cool Cuba St the many eateries & shops are at your doorstep.
This is a carpark in the heart of the city though so, arriving on a weekday morn, all camperhome spots were occupied by sedans.
We parked nearby for the day & returned around 4.30PM to secure a spot for the night.
Cheapest rate was $35 from 4PM check in to 8AM.
Payment via a website so internet connection needed.
Self contained vehicles only with nearest toilet a 6 min walk away at
This is a city spot so the usual city noises applies.

Good location for an overnight park-up which gave us electricity and a nice central location.
However, be really careful of the pricing - I had read information for the other city motorhome park which mentioned a price per 24 hours. BE AWARE - this car park does not charge by 24 hours. It is $35 for max 12pm-8am but if you need to stay beyond 8am then your only option is to get another ticket which is $45 (additional $10 for the early check-in). Our ferry wasn’t until 2:45pm so we had to pay the extra making this the most expensive site we have used (for the least facilities).
It was nice to be central to Wellington but I’m not sure I would use this one again - the spaces were small and the car park on a slight slope. From early morning you realise that you are basically parked in a car park as everyone starts to arrive for their day.

It is just a parking without any facility, so maybe a little bit expensive ($29/night), but very good location, close to one of the main streets (Cuba Street) full of restaurants and amenities.
Convenient if you are taking the Ferry.

Really good location right in the city centre.
Close to all amenities and restaurants. However, it was also the disadvantages of the city, very small (size of a parking space) and very noisy night.
