    Overall it was ok!

We camped in the lower spot of the loop and it was pretty and green. Big group of people who were quite loud and playing music late into the evening made us feel a bit nervous. Someone set off fireworks at midnight and a truck came in around 5am and pulled something out of the ground then peeled off…overall weird vibes

This place was beautiful and the long drop was just fine.

It was somewhat crowded and other campers played loud music and lit fireworks late, but it was new years day so maybe to be expected. Someone did come check self containment status just after 7 am.

    Beautiful spot to stay at.

There's no signs to indicate where to park you self-contained vehicle though.

Toilet is fine for a drop toilet.

We were the only ones there. We had a quiet night. No locals making noise or anything.

Great spot in the middle of a huge forest, near a river, very secluded, long drop toilet was pretty clean, no cell reception what so ever.

Sometimes in the night there will be people doing skids on the gravel road and partying.

Lovely spot by the river with disgusting toilets.

We were the only ones there until 2am when a quad bike and 4 cars turned up. A group of people looking to party with loud music and shouting and fire works. We felt very unsafe. They left after 40 mins. Another car turned up for a short while at 5 am. A local food is its common people go there to party and destroy things and take drugs.

At this place we were really surprised about this nice area for camping.

Possibilities to sit, green ground for Picknick available, silent area and only beautiful nature. . Camping as expected and wished for us. 3 free living (?) chickens gone around the parking area- we didn't know where they belongs to, but funny pictures 😄 the gravel road to the location was not a problem at all. 10 points from us.

Nice Site next to a river.

Long drop a bit smelly and full of flies. Otherwise perfect for an extended overnight stay.

Fun fact: After six weeks of travelling both islands this was actually the first site we had completely for ourselves, and that two weeks before Christmas on the coromandel

Lovely spot in a sheltered valley beside a crystal clear mountain creek with great swimming holes.

Palm trees and tall tree ferns are dotted around. Had the place to ourselves, so it was very peaceful. The toilet is a long drop, but in good condition with no smell. The gravel carpark is a bit dusty, otherwise would have given a 10.
