Booked here as a stop off after the copland hike, Great facilities: big well stocked kitchen area, wonderfully warm clean showers, a separate lounge/TV games room area open all night with lovely mountain

backdrop. Paid $40 for 2 adults in a non powered site. Reception very friendly, not many people around as it's winter but big capacity so probably gets busy in the summer.

We got there late and it was raining hard!!

Huge Quonset hut common area, clean and hot showers and bathroom. The management was kind enough to come around the next morning and tell us that the road north was closed and we probably had 10 minutes before the road south would be closed due to rain. So we could either leave right now or stay for 5 days. We left and were grateful for the warning.

Lovely holiday park with very good and clean facilities.

Free hot showers with good water pressure. Best was the games room next to the TV room. Every sort of game you could imagine from oversized draughts (checkers), a pool table, jigsaws and lots of board games. Free WiFi and within cellphone coverage area. There were also motel rooms on site.

    Lovely place.

The remodeled farm houses are very cute and it's nice to have a high ceiling. Late check in was no problem and the staff was very forthcoming in the morning as well. Unfortunately some guests didn't clean up after themselves, but that is not the campsite's fault. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and the showers were nice.

Arrived after reception closed but map and instructions left were clear.

Had lots of areas but only used main (hanger) area for breakfast. It could get chilly in the evenings but heaters on the wall. Showers were clean and hot and had music playing.

Kitchen area had lots of utensils and equipment that could be used. Wifi was good.

The 'rainfall' shower in the men's section (ladies have conventional shower head on wall) is the only best thing about this campground.

There are two toilets and two shower stalls in the men's section. They can accommodate 37 powered sites, 18 unpowereed/tent sites, for a total 55. Go figure the queue in the morning as their sign was adamant about a 10am check out. Kitchen is small too, I didn't count the number of hot stations, but based on visual impressions, I think it's probably three groups at most.

    Bon accueil.

Decent spots with a bit of space between and some shrubs to divide things up.

$58 for a night with a campervan (2 adults, 3 year old and a baby)

Good facilities, nice kitchen and toilet\showers.

Really great playground for kids, also a nice indoor games area and separate lounge area in case it rains (which it did for about an hour)

Everything you want in a powered site.

Clean, comfortable spaces for your campers, quiet & friendly. Best hot shower I had over 10 days. Receptionist was a gem and gave us a couple spare towels as ours got drenched over night. The Antler Pub down the road does a decent meal. Don't forget to fuel up in Haast as there's no fuel stations for the next 120km.

    Very nice place.

This is the second time we stopped here. The place is still perfect: very quiet, very clean, good hot showers and perfect kitchen.

Powered site:48$ for 2 persons .... this was our most expensive stay in a camper place 😉 and you have to leave at 10am 🙈

A bit to early for us .....

Besite this camping experience (because this was a nice place....and we certainly go back)...... we have the feeling that the West Coast is one big commercial trap! From Wanaka up Nord to Greymouth you have practically no free camper places. Very sad and very expensive if you stay a longer time West.
