This is a beach front campsite in a farm setting. An ideal location for water sports, including swimming, boating, diving and fishing.
Fletchers Bay Camping Ground is situated right on the beach front in a farm setting. You can walk along the Coromandel Coastal Walkway to Stony Bay (3 hours one-way). The perfect location for water sport-o-rama, catch a fish, have a swim, dig a pipi and check out the underwater goodness in your diving gears. Please take all your rubbish with you to the Port Jackson refuse site.
The access road into Port Jackson and Fletcher Bay campsites is closed.

Check-in is from 2 pm, and campers must leave their site by 11 am, though facilities can be used for the rest of the day. Bookings are required and can be made online until 8 pm for same-day stays. Bookings for the 2026/27 season open at 12 noon on Thursday 14 May 2026. The campsite was temporarily closed from April 10-17, 2026. |
