15$/person is way too much for this site.

A gravel path filled with holes is basically what it is. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned in forever.

I understand why DOC campsites require a fee, however the pricing remains consistent throughout the sites but the amenities definitely don’t.

True for all the doc place from Te Anau to Milford Sound : Price is $13 per person in November.

For long drop toilet and a ground full of holes it is a bite expensive. The rangers check everyday. In some of places you can do a fire. Not for all of course, in case you are able to burn the water.

Small place, toilet was really disgusting, just one possibility for sitting.

One of many small campsites, just a toilet and no water.

Apart from the many sandflies that you have in any campsite around Milford this was an excellent place to stay.

Great, great views, not so crowded as the other sites and 2 fireplaces.

Can't beat the tranquility and beauty along the Milford Rd (once the tour buses have left for the day!).
