1 Rankers Review
Walk or mountain bike in to this backcountry campsite in the Marlborough Sounds. Access is from the Queen Charlotte Track. There is no drive in access.
Bike or walking track access only. A great place to have a break in the picnic shelter as you are exploring the Queen Charlotte Track.
There is very low water at Bay of Many Coves, Camp Bay and Black Rock campsites. Queen Charlotte track users should not rely on these supplies.
If you are walking or cycling between Kenepuru and Torea Saddles, you must take enough water for your trip. Do not rely on being able to refill along the way as the tanks may be empty and there are no streams along the ridgeline.
