New owners and the nicest most friendly people (in particular, Sapphire was so kind and helpful to us!).

We arrived and it was a night the woodfired pizza oven was fired up, so got some groceries from the Fresh Choice supermarket about a 10 minutes walk away and worked our paddle skills. Clean (free) showers and toilets (but no heating). Kitchen good with gas burners, good amount of space and oven (baked cookies). Outdoor hot tub to book, 1 free sauna (but was busy each time we checked). Out front entrance and on the lakefront (but no real views from the grounds except possibly) and easy 5 minutes walk to coffee shops etc. Stayed 3 nights June 2024 in a serviced site, would definitely stay again.

This was one of the best holiday parks I’ve stayed in.

The owner did everything to make sure I had the best stay, he treated me like family. The staff were friendly and the facilities were clean, upgraded, and spacious. Loved the complimentary sauna, and they had lovely hottub books for an extra fee. A great experience!

Excellent location just back from the lake shores in the centre of Te Anau.

Facilities were clean, though could do with a few more showers etc for the size of the site. Pitches could be a bit small so if you're driving something a bit bigger then do let them know, but they were very accommodating and tried to find us a nice pitch.

I don’t see why people would give this a 10, but yes it’s a decent campsite with good amenities.

The site feels a bit cramped though, as if they tried to fit as many sites per square meter as possible. I guess it gets very crowded in high season. There are two block with amenities that were OK - clean and fairly new. The playground is a little small, but there is a huge one next door that our kids loved. Some shops and supermarkets (four square and fresh choice) nearby, and a pretty cheap gas station, make it a potential good home base for the region.

    Seriously?

Five star facilities? No pool, pay hot tub, no view, no space, no shade, and $48.00 no power!!!! Complete and total RIP off.

We saw the amazing reviews and decided to stay here.

We were not impressed, the campsite is average. The kitchen ventilation needs an urgent upgrade - every time we would go in we would come out smelling whatever was being cooked. Tv lounge needs some love and care. Bathroom cleaning should be more frequent given the number of units.

Great hot showers for the cold weather at this time of year. Great little site and was busy in may when we stayed but guess it’s really busy in summer!

Stayed on this holiday park on the entry and exit to Milford Sound - loved it.

Really short walk to the town shops and a beautiful walk all the way around to the bird sanctuary. The indoor kitchen is great and cleaned really well. Bathrooms are spacious and the laundry facilities were really useful.

We stayed in both this and the TOP 10.

Both are great, this one was our favorite of the two because our son loved the pedal go cart and we thought the spacing here for camper and/RVs was more spacious. Clean facilities. Lovely little town! We enjoyed it!

    Best shower yet!!!

The reception was very friendly, a day extension was no problem.

The campground is located close to the lake, walking for taking a swim in the lake is great.

Very good facilities, enough space in the kitchen.

Now run by Tasman holiday parks, and very well run at that.

It has everything you need, including a very comfy lounge room. The staff was super nice, and the facilities were spotless. $35 per tent worked out well for 2 people but less well for solo travelers.

was a comfortable place, accomodating even when we walked in for a booking.

we stayed quite close to the toilets and kitchen which can be a good or bad thing but we liked it. the sauna was “flooded” which was a shame and the hot tub gets booked out ages in advance but otherwise good ! the toilets and showers were clean and amazing (unlimited hot showers!) AND they had unlimited free wifi which was a luxury. we stayed for $35 for two on an unpowered site.

Reception team were lovely, wifi was great and the park is located just across from the lake and only a short stroll into town.

The only disappointing part of our stay was the sauna and hot tubs were closed for maintenance. This was one of the main reasons we booked this place was for these facilities and we're really disappointed we couldn't use them

Staff very polite and helpful. And the price was really good compared to other places. Only annoying thing is coin operated washing and drying machines. If you run out of coins and the office is closed, there is no way to finish your washing. Especially if one has to leave early in the morning
