We stayed for 3 nights in a powered site.
I think the park is exceptional. The facilities are modern, clean, warm and very well appointed. Even the dump station was great, clean with handwashing facilities.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had an amazing site with views across the lake.
We got a winter special rate for $41.50 2 people pn (min 2 nights) which we thought was reasonable for the area and good value for the facilities. (A caravan park at Manapouri was quoting $100pn at the same time!)

I enjoyed my stay here.
It was pretty cold so the nice heated kitchen was lovely! The vibes were good here, other campers up for a chat in the communal spaces which was lovely.
Only part of the park was open in the off-season but it looked like there were more amenities blocks that would handle a full camp ground well. Showers were awesome- better than mine at home!

Had expected a large camp site right on the lake, but this one is across the street and vast majority of sites have no view in spite of the name.
Facilities are good, although hot water wasn't working in one kitchen for two days. WiFi is too poor to connect to on most of the property. Reception was dismissive and unhelpful when I inquired about other options after seeing how exposed the non powered sites were. Even though they fall short on the view and WiFi, they make sure to have a sign scolding you for stealing if you didn't register. Not tasteful. I stayed at 5 sites while traveling the south island and all the others were either spacious and scenic, or private with hedges. This place is more like a parking lot. I wouldn't camp there again.

The site was great and the shower had GREAT water pressure. BUT, the wifi did not work at all. Yes, I know this isn’t a need, but it definitely was hard to use our devices during the rain and trying to finalize travel plans.

When we originally stayed here we loved it.
Great facilities, family bathroom even has a bath (you ask for the key at reciption and get it for an hour) which felt like a total luxary! Reception staff were super friendly and even directed us to a bird sanctuary a short walk away which our 2yo loved! We liked it here so much we decided to stay again on our way back from milford sound. This is when the issues started. Arrived and was told where to go, we set up then the owner(assuming as she was the only one not wearing uniform) told us we were in the wrong spot (even though we littraly had a map where the receptionest highlighted this spot) She apologised and said she'd get back to us. Okay, mistakes happen. The van next to us (the ones who were also booked for this spot) said if we needed to move they would happily move instead as they'd just got there and we'd already set up with our infant in toe. We were also staying the same number of nights. The owner found us later and told us we needed to move, we explained what the other van had said and immedeatly her attitude changed and she said no, we have other bookings. Okay... I said that's alright mix ups happen, no problem we'll just move. She gave me the biggest fake smile and just said no. My partner asked what happened anyway and she began acting like it was our fault and being really rude and condescending. Everytime we saw her after this she wouldn't make eye contact with us. We came in later as we had been double chargered for our stay and very politely asked about it. She was rude again and even dismissive to her own Staff. The woman who helped us was nice, everyone seemed nice except her. Such a shame as it was so lovely here but if she's the owner I'd never want to stay again. Totally ruined it.

Good location.
Clean and ample facilities. When we were there there seemed to be many larger groups/families so the kitchen and eating area was usually crowded and pretty loud, although the shower and laundry were easily available. Spots are pretty close together with little or no separation (e.g. many sites we've been to have had hedges or have spaced folks out if possible). Nice partial view of the lake over the other campers.
