Toilets are soso.
Not bad, but I've seen better. The internet is atrocious. Always disconnects. I know thats not why one is there, but after a long day on the road you really don't want to deal with shit like this. Traffic noise is ok so far, but that's what you kinda have to deal with this.

In some cases there was a bit of a weird vibe, maybe between permanent residents and visitors but still perfectly fine

I would not recommended staying here.
The campsite is overpriced for what you get. The facilities are minimal and very outdated. There are for instance 3 female showers (which do only get luke warm) for a block with at least 30 sites.

Stayed two nights here.
Found the owners friendly and we booked a great wine tour through them.
The facilities are starting to get a bit tired but were clean and plenty of hot water in the showers.
Our only complaint was the noise from the main road bridge and train bridge that goes through the park, not much they can do about this.

nice campground and nice hosts.
The showers and bathrooms were decent and clean. The kitchen was small for how many people there were but clean. We did laundry and the cost was reasonable. You do camp under the car and train bridge, but it didn't bother us too much. One train did go by before we went to bed and it was pretty loud, but we didn't hear another one during our stay.

Because of the Marlborough wine festival we rented a cabin, with just a bed and shared bathroom / facilities.
The bed felt like it was really old, because it was a spring mattress without any support. Also much noise from the road, so wouldn't recommend this campsite. Had a good night sleep though, but probably because of all the wine ;-)

Poor experience!!
Kitchen facilities are tired and inefficient, with hobs that are slow to heat and a washing machine that sounds as if a bearing has gone/going.
Broken safety wire on stair treads to the bathrooms which is clearly long standing damage.
Clearly, no site security or the drunken party of several men in the kitchen until 2am would have been stopped - further evidence of which was a smashed brandy bottle in the mens toilets with splinters and shards still strewn about at 8.30 the following morning. Anyone with bare feet could have been seriously injured.
The flyover bridge which bisects the site carries heavy traffic and can be noisy. Some of the “permanents” on site might cause concern to parents.
Will not be returning.

Good location. Brochures in office about wine trail are 2 years out of date. We went to 4 winery to day and found the all closed. But Holiday park information said they were all open. Very disappointed. Also the Wi-Fi can't be connected. Have stayed at much better so won't be back. Also staff most unhelpful when they were notified.

Grim.
Should be significantly better given there are a large number of contractors permanently housed there bringing in the income. Yes the bridge is being built, but surely that does not preclude fresh pain and garden maintenance occurring.

I only saw the pitches as when we arrived there was construction work going on around the roads beside it and the bridge area within it.
This loud works goes from 7:30am until 6pm, which is okay if your out all day but even when you return your surrounded by construction work.
They offered us a refund as we decided not to stay after 10 mins because it was so noisy.
Other facilities looked ok but did not use them.
Hard to get in or out of the road as very busy junction.

Really awful campsite.
Top 10 should be really disappointed in themselves. Def keep driving and find somewhere else!
The site is split on either side of the highway - one side is really cramped and has a railway running next to it - the other is next to a highway and huge construction site that starts work at 630am.
All the amenities were very dated - one kitchen didn’t even have an oven.
Really disappointing stay and couldn’t wait to leave! Don’t waste your money!

A very average and uninspiring holiday park - facilities are clean but tired and also many unfriendly, ‘quirky’ permanent residents.
A 2 year bridge building project has just started next door (Dec 18) with building noise from 8am until 8pm - unacceptably late. Although the holiday park can’t directly blamed for this, they should be warning people and cutting prices to compensate (staff informed us the owners were being heavily compensated by the government themselves for the building work).
On plus - good location for Blenheim, the ferry and wine trails. Also free hot shower and picnic table at each powered site.

We booked to stay here for 2 nights but ended up staying only for 1.
This is not the standard I expected having stayed at other Top Ten parks. Main issues were unfriendly welcome from manager, powered site we were given directly in front of dump station, too many permanent caravans on site, very noisy due to being by the road, facilities not particularly clean or well cared for.

Toilets/ showers are very ugly, and the man on the reception should be answering himself if it is the right job for him, really unfriendly and angry.
The camping space is near the railway and the highway, because on that you can’t sleep really well!!!
If you have time and not to drunken from the good wines, drive through Blenheim up to Picton Caravan Park or down to Kaikoura Top Ten the difference is like heaven and hell.

We started our trip from Christchurch and drove up North in a self contained camper van.
During our road trip from Christchurch, this is the third Top 10 holiday park that we stayed (Christchurch, Hanmer Springs and later on we also stayed at Wellington's). Two adults and two kids at a powered site backed onto the train track, luckily the train service stopped due to bad weather etc. It costed us $57 with Top 10 member discount which is really not worth it, comparing with other Top 10s. It is not kids friendly at all, all play equipments are old or broken. The place are full of construction workers smoking outside their cabins. Staff is a middle age lady with English accents, has no idea what is around to offer, no help at all for any recommendations and obviously did not want to be there. Only two washing machines working and most of things in TV, kitchen room are out of order. Both my husband and I been regretting that we did not have a look around first before we checked in as we assumed it should be like other Top 10s we stayed. Never ever will be back here again that is for sure. The 2 points I gave are purely for location, as it is on the way out to Picton for our ferry back to north island.

Not Top 10 worthy!
We normally like Top 10 for the kids but this place is just overrated. Trampoline is broken, playground small and nothing for younger kids. Grassy campgrounds very far away from playground. Swimming pool small and only two chairs to sit on. And this all for 80 something dollars including a 10% discount we had for having a Top 10 card. We Only stayed one night and than ran off to the much better campground a little bit north for $15 each kids for free.

Nice site, friendly staff.
We stayed two nights and the toilets and showers were not cleaned once in that time, disappointing as it was Easter and busy! There is a lot of road and rail noise, which goes all night. Didn't bother us, but something to be aware of. Didn't feel very safe having children there as no one adheres to the 5 kph speed limit - including the staff! Not bad, but we have certainly stayed in nicer, more family friendly camping grounds.

We arrived without our camper van because it was undergoing emergency repairs. We were accommodated in a cabin and very nice it was too - clean and spacious although we did have to buy a sieve at the nearby supermarket in order to be able to make fresh coffee. The camping site is beside a very pretty river and although there is road noise it's barely noticeable. Eating places are close by and the wine tour will collect you from the site and literally drive you to drink!

Huge site on the outskirts of Blenheim en route from Picton.
The site is split into two, with the motels as you enter and the camp site "under the road and railway bridge", by the river. We hardly noticed the road noise.
The kitchen on the motel side is MUCH better equipped, although there is also a third kitchen facility also on the camp side. The main kitchen in the campsite is upstairs (as are the four toilets/showers per male/female), with the laundry.
Three double electric stove tops, fridge, freezer, microwave and kettle, small table and a few chairs. There's also an Internet kiosk and wifi is accessible from the camping sites, although the speed was awful and we weren't even able to use the free 100mb each day per device despite attempting to.
Friendly staff, kitchen and showers were clean, location is good.
