This is a very special place.
We had a pitch overlooking the beach. Friendly team and fantastic facilities. You won't believe how shiny the bathrooms are.

Loved my stay at this Camp Ground.
Stayed over in a small Campervan on a powered site. Facilities were excellent, very clean. Staff were very friendly and accompanying after I had to change my arrival due to running a day late. Will be back in the future.

What a nice camp site.
Friendly people at the reception. All sites facing the ocean. Clean kitchen, toilets and showers ($0,50/5mins). You have to pay for Wifi ($5/24hrs)

For us best campground in NZ.
Perfect place at the beach near New Plymouth. Very friendly staff, bathrooms are always clean. At christmas full but no problems there. Only some minutes to the city and Mt Egmont.

Food places near by.
Thank you for not discriminating against the unvaccinated. We had a ball of a time.
Life guard patrolled beach was great for swimming.

Horrible communication with the receptionist....
We had never made a deposit that was meant to confirm our booking. As something had popped up, so we didn't think we had to cancel anything because nothing was confirmed nor booked.
But we still got charged a full stay for 2 nights x2 people.
Absolutely guttered, not even keen to try this place in my home time.
I will never reccomened to anyone near or far.

Fantastic spot right on the beach.
Facilities really clean and well kept. One of the best camp bathrooms I have ever been in. The only thing that could be better is mobile phone reception which is a bit patchy depending on where you are staying.
Friendly staff and didn’t have to check out until midday.
So good we stayed a second night!

Had a fantastic time and really close to a lovely sandy beach to walk our dog.
Great takeaway coffee about 150 metres away at the surf shop. Nice friendly staff. We stayed for a week on a beach front powered site. Shame about having to pay for the showers but lovely and clean and plenty of hot water.

Super flexible site.
Stayed one night only but could of stayed more if we hadn't wanted to be further north on Christmas Day itself. Powered sites right on beach. Tokens for stuff but it was clean and friendly.

A very appealing camping site on the ocean, with attractive pitches right near the long, sandy beach.
Clean and well equipped. Showers need a 50 cent coin, quite likely to prevent squandering and use by bathers from the beach. Recommended

A bit more pricey than we typically would like (it was $18pp for a non-powered site)...but it was definitely, 100% worth it!
The owners are sweet as. So friendly, easy-going and accommodating. The kitchen is spotless and a good size with plenty of counter space. Lots of tables around to eat, music playing in the showers...it's a good atmosphere. Showers cost $0.50 for every 5 minutes. The entire place was spotless. When the campsite is busy, they clean the facilities twice a day!
Right on a beautiful beach, grassy areas, a trampoline...wonderful.

Great park right on a beautiful beach.
Fantastic spotless facilities and lovely friendly lady at the office. Would have given it a 10 but was disappointed that we had to pay 50c for a 5 minute shower. Otherwise, it was the best park we stayed in during our recent trip.
