Our friendly holiday park is situated a short drive from central Rotorua in a quiet location with no sulphur odour. We are within walking distance to Lake Rotorua.
Our friendly holiday park is situated in a quiet location with no sulphur odour. Rotorua Family Holiday Park is the closest holiday park to most of Rotorua's major tourist attractions with only a 2 minute drive, and a short drive to central Rotorua.
We offer free unlimited WIFI, playground, BBQ's and outdoor eating area, showers (no coins required), spa pool and solar heated swimming pool ( seasonal), 9kg gas bottle exchange, tackle shop including fishing licences, dump station and full camping facilities.
Just a short walk to Lake Rotorua and world famous Ngongotaha trout fishing stream and a 5 minute walk to Ngongotaha village shops. If you would like a break from your camper van we can offer you a selection of units starting from $70 for 2 persons.

Free showers. As a holiday park, it was a bit busy and you’re closely parked to other people, but if you’re expecting that it’s a nice spot to be.

Cabin and facilities were all very good.
Very helpful staff. And a friendly cat :) Only small snag is no plates/cups/utensils in the kitchen.

For the price (45$ for 2, powered) it's such a great camping.
Everything is clean and well equipped. Great hot showers, quiet, nice kitchen, laundry for 4$ with dryer and lots of outdoor clothes lines. Picnic tables at almost every spot. Also a swimming pool ! Nice owners.

Really nice park, friendly owner, all the facilities were spotless.
Showers are completely free and have changing cubicles attached.
The washer and dryers are very efficient and theres a clothesline too.
Would definitely visit again.
If you’re into fishing there’s a huge selection of equipment in the office for sale.

Affordable powered site (40 NZD vehicle plus 2 adults).
Guy at the reception very friendly. Amenities are clean. Wastewater dump station and potable water refill both for free. Hot showers was great.
All that you need to have a break from freedom campings. Kitchen was well equipped, for example with bread toasters, just a nice extra.

Staff were friendly and it felt very secure. The amenities were very well maintained and the surrounding areas were lovely.

Schöner kleiner Campingplatz in der Nähe von Rotorua.
Der Platz ist sehr gepflegt, die Duschen sind sehr neu. Küche und Waschmöglichkeiten, beides gut ausgestattet. Gute Anbindung an alle Sehenswürdigkeiten.

An awesome place!
We stayed two nights and loved the amenities. Showers, toilets, kitchen and laundry facilities were super clean. Showers free, unlimited hot water, washing machine and dryers able to take big loads and actually got things dry in the one hour cycle! The kids enjoyed the pool and playground and our wee dog enjoyed his off leash time on the nearby playing fields. We were in a stoned powered site so with the little bits of rain we had we were dry under food with no mess being dragged through the caravan. Close to the Zorb and Luge experiences. Hosts are super friendly and we would definitely stay again.

I chose this as it looked as if it was on the edge of the lake and it had a good Rankers rating.
We were told there were only 4 pitches left… which was true as all the rest of the camp site is a jumble of quite run down permanently parked caravans. Our next door neighbour had left a big bucket of dirty washing up by the joint electric point, which made for a pleasant view! There were only 3 showers and only 3 washing machines. Facilities were all clean and staff friendly enough.. It’s not lakeside, although the walk is only 2 mins. On walking down I saw the campgrounds opposite has water side spots, I’d definitely go there next time. Overall, ok for a quick overnight if you can’t find anything better.

The toilets and shower rooms are separate so slightly inconvenient. Friendly reception staff.

Nice holiday park close to the lake.
Friendly staff/owner and clean facilities however my boyfriend thought the men's bathroom was a bit dirty and didn't have any soap to wash his hands.

WiFi included, 1gb data. Washing machine for 3$, very clean facility, warm shower. Really enjoyed our stay there! Didn't use the kitchen, there was an oven and a fridge. You can load your phones in the TV room. Very nice owner!
