We stay for one night (Saturday night) and it was okay.

We were the only camper and there was some people screaming to each other in the parking during the night.

Didn’t feel 100% safe, but nothing bad happened.

The toilet were clean and just across the street

    The wifi didn’t really work

It is fine for one night I guess

    Ok for one night!

Bit sketchy with cars coming an going to an almost empty carpark and just stay in their cars..?! Probably wouldn’t stay here on Friday or Saturday! We stayed on Sunday ist was ok! Toilets right across the street.

Very good considering it’s a free car park.

Free Wi-Fi and the toilets across the road are cleaned daily. There are also big trees to park under and the ground is flat. We stayed a Tuesday night and there were a few boy racers, I wouldn’t like to stay Friday or Saturday night as I suspect it would be quite loud. Also, alright for two people but I would feel nervous alone, there are often people coming and going, not really sure what they’re doing in an empty car park.

First time that I feel unsafe camping as a single woman in NZ .

Not the best place to stay . However it is convenient to be close to everything ( toilets , shops , supermarket ). Unlike the other reviews you cannot reach the wifi from the car park .

A good spot with access to clean toilets and good free wifi from the Library on the other side of the roundabout from the parking lot and toilet.

Flat, paved parking lot. Quite empty too when I stayed there. Nearby old watertower is the town's attraction and looks pretty at night.
