Shower tokens are $3 now, but showers are warm, bathrooms are clean, and wifi is decent but slow.

Plenty of nearby traffic, so be used to the noise. A security guard walks around the building when the isite is open, but they are not a detriment to campervans.

There was a lot of racing on the road next to the car park and a drunk driver lost control of his vehicle and hit our campervan and another car next to us at high speed.

The car next to us (2 people sleeping) got wrecked due to the impact and our campervan got hit on the side. Luckily everybody escaped without injuries. We and the car next to us were at the wrong place at the wrong time, but still the road next to the car park is just extremely dangerous. The police officer also admitted it's a bad place to park.. We felt very unsafe and were adviced to move our vehicle for the night by the police. Horror experience..

24hr toilets. Right next to the main road so you hear cars going all hours of the night. People hanging out in the parking lot (drinking, smoking) late at night but never made me feel unsafe.

Nice during the day, felt incredibly unsafe at night as a female

Nice park and cafe with slow wifi.

Not a great sleep as the neighbours across the street have a dog that barks all night. Also on a busy road and allocated spots are on a slope. Use the isite to get info but try and get a spot to sleep at another one of the sites in town.

    It was a pleasant stay.

24 hour toilets. 7 or 8 picnic tables. There is a decent scenic walk starting at the park.

June 2018: Was concerned due to previous comments but thought we would give it a try.

Rolled in after midnight, no noise, and only one unisex 24 hour toilet open. Had to park between the two signs. Signs all over about it being a freedom camp and not to wash dishes and to bin rubbish, starting to think people have ruined the freedom camping opportunities. Once the I-site opened a little before 9 was able to purchase a shower token and receive the hot water code. The 24 hr toilet and shower was clean. Might stay here after traveling to the north trip and back.

Decent spot, but considering that it is a parking lot in town it is not as spacious as one would like and it is right off the highway so it was a bit noisy on the Monday morning.

The downside is that there aren't many designated spots for overnight camping. I got a spot, but some people who showed up later ended up parking in non-designated spots. I didn't notice them having any issues. I recommend that you spend $2 and pay for the warm shower if you're wanting to bathe because it is cold water, especially in the morning.

It’s an information site parking lot, right off the main road.

We found it to be noisy, not just traffic but also random people showing up at night to hang out. The bathrooms were okay and they had drinking water. The showers cost $2 for 5 mins but doesn’t work unless you have tokens. Okay for a free spot to park though!

Very full, toilet open all night but couple of guys hanging around and didn’t feel very safe.

    Rather uneven ground (though concrete).

Public toilets are there and accessible but can not really recommend this as a nice spot unfortunately.
