As described, I loved the olives and how peaceful and quiet it was.
Great place to stargaze!
No powered sites as the app say, and the compost toilet was not that nice.

Excellent experience.
Loads of space in among the trees to pick from - be private or gregarious at your choice. Ducks wandering free and a beautiful landcaped pond to sit by.
Lovely hosts!
They harvest the oil from the trees and will happily sell you a bottle.

I wish I had better news.
My review is based on the value for the price.
We paid $10 pp. No amenities accept for a sink and accommodation is adjacent to a busy road. The hosts were friendly enough, but I felt this was a rip off, sorry to say. Perhaps if they included a bottle of olive oil, it may sweeten the deal.
If you want paid accommodation, perhaps try the DOC camp, which is quite lovely and quiet; or the NZMCA Park. We found cell coverage to be quite good on the KariKari Peninsula.
