We got an extra rivermap - very useful as you know exactly where you are (and timing to stay away from other companies!).
Good equipment incl watercase for camera. Transport back at the end of the trip in perfect time.

A large family group of many different ages did a one day canoe trip with Simon and the team to celebrate my Dad's birthday.
The toddlers, teenage boys and great aunties all had a great time in the canoes. We loved it and are planning to return for another trip in the summer.

We did a 3 Day Wanganui Safari and had an excellent experience.
The river is a really beautiful place packed with history and interesting features. Our group was a mix of families and travellers, and everyone got along great. A huge positive was the quality of food, very fresh and well cooked. Accompanied by a nice bottle of NZ wine, this was the perfect way to end a day's paddling. In summary, a highlight of our time in NZ, and would recommend to anyone.

We just enjoyed a great 3 day trip down the Whanganui River, led by Graham.
The river was beautiful, the pace was a good mix of paddling then resting in the current, hard enough to appreciate our down time at the end of each day. The food was really outstanding, and we found it amazing to be eating such fresh and delicious food in the middle of no where.
The whole trip was organised so wonderfully, we would recommend Canoe Safaris to anyone wanting a guided trip. It was above and beyond our expectations and good money for value.
