We didn't park on the beach but in the small parking area.
The sea was very rough but was pleasant to fall asleep to. Bins provided. It you are a light sleeper you can hear the road and freight trains.

We stand behind the dune to avoid the wind.
We stand to close to the dunes so we got stuck. Watch out for the sandy soil. It is difficult to see, where it is slippery. Safe bed is on the gravel ground.

Nothing screams freedom camping.
More of a rubbish tip on an otherwise pebble beach. Rubbish everywhere. Too sandy to park up on the beach. A small patch of grass to park my van, fear of getting bogged. Ocean views stunning. Otherwise this is a disgrace.

No complains.
Open grass area next to the beach. Easy to access. Seems like it can get muddy when it's been raining so careful where you park.

4WD beach with space to park for the night.
Be careful to not get stuck as I did.
Minimal space before the beach so don't go expecting it to be 'setup' for 2WD freedom campers. Would be a nice spot for more capable setups.
Long line fishing spot as it has an under tow current to carry out the line. Not sure if swimming is a good idea.
