Expensive, but understandable due to conservation.
Keeper talks were excellent.

The audio guided tour was very clear and the kiwi feeding was the only opportunity to see real life kiwi.
The show that was given there was fun as well.

You can see real kiwi pretty close, nice show organised in between with lots of information, surrounding (park) lovely arranged, entry fee rather high but worth paying for it.

Funny to watch Kiwis, but rest of park is rather small.
Conservation show was nice and interesting. All in all, considering the price, we expected a bit more.

Conservation show OK, but the contents of the park are not very impressive, although you do get to see a couple of Kiwis scratching around in near darkness.

Seeing Kiwi's in real life was okay, rest of the park was a bit disapointing, brid show partically made up for that.

An excellent way to get good views of some of NZ's special birds that must at all costs be protected.
We enjoyed an excellent short talk on the kiwi and other birds by a very knowledgeable expert. (Visited Nov 2006)

Great place!
Saw some classic kiwis, crazy little birds. Kea's were great too. A little expensive though.
