This is quite a large area, trees one side, bank the other.

Grass needs a good mow. Easy to park. A few table and chairs. Long drop, need your own toilet paper. Short walk to the river. On a busy road, so road traffic could be a problem. Good stop off overnight on the way to somewhere else. No consistent mobile signal.

Did hear some traffic at night. Long drop if you are desperate. A few picnic tables.

Quiet place good for one night, long drop toilet not in the best condition but at least it's there, plenty of space

Quiet camp area by the river.

No mobile reception. No human would use the long drop toilet...it's feral so you really do need to be self contained. Free site and served us very nicely.

Big open grassy space with a drop loo.

Byo toilet paper, not unclean but not pristine. Plenty of space for large motorhome, makes for a good spot to pull in for a night. It was popular over Easter but still heaps of space so you don't feel like you are camping on top of each other

Really nice quiet location to break up our trip back to Christchurch.

There are a few large potholes but other than that a great free campsite.

Relaxing country field by a river.

Disappointing that we were the only vehicle self contained out of 10. Come on guys don't ruin it!

    This camping is ok.

Clean toilet, plenty of places, no noise. We did a short walk to a nice river close to the site.

Grass and toilets, a bit close to the road but not a lot a passage.

On the road to the Pell Forest and Geraldine.

    And free of course. \

    No signs anyway.
