Anita and Penny were incredible hosts inviting us into their beautiful farm and camping site.
Lovely view of the sunset & sunrise. It was completely silent with friendly cows to greet us in the morning. They have kitchen space, shower and a nice composting toilet. Absolutely an amazing find!

NOT SUITABLE FOR MOTORHOMES.
Even if you get through the narrow entrance, the property is heavily sloped and the only spot for a campervan is in front of the garage. Good luck turning around with a large vehicle if you decide to leave… Also there was a lot of junk lying around everywhere. But the lady was super nice.

Wonderful location, we took a 6 berth Britz motor home - yes a tight drive in but all ok.
Our hosts were terrific and accommodating.

Wonderful quiet and peaceful site...
amazing views, spotless kitchen and showers and amazing hosts. Penny and Anita went out of their way to make sure I had a great time. They were approachable and friendly but happy to let me enjoy the place... even cooked pancakes for me!!

Lovely, Friendly and Convenient.
We were returning our campervan to Auckland in the morning so brilliant location, near to a car wash but enough off the main trail to have an authentic kiwi feel. Great facilities shower and toilet, beaut view. The owners and fellow guests were so welcoming even allowing us to cook in their home kitchen.

Such a sweet host.
Seeing all the cows and watching the sunrise over the country was beautiful. Clean, and a nice hot shower.

Excellent place.
Amazing views, good value, and very friendly and sociable owners. Brilliant elevated campsite facing West allowing you to watch the sun rise over the Waikato.

Great place, perfect view and very friendly hosts.
space for 2 campers, little difficult at the end but we made it easily with a 6berth camper. Great hats with view also for backpackers.
Friendly dogs and calves, perfect also for our 4 year old son.

Very lovely place, with a very nice view.
Pricing was very fair, 15$ for a tent side. They have hot shower, Toilet, Kitchen and mouch more.
I do recommend to stay here for at least one night.
Defenetely coming back.

Can’t understand the review from Aylin.
No idea what she expected... that’s a little farm with a kind of backpacker side business.
I really enjoyed the time here. The hosts (two older lady’s are really lovely and helpful)
I hitchhiked the last 3km to this place and at the morning I left, one of them brought me to a bigger street with more traffic and better chances for hitchhiking.
15$ to pitch a tent and 30$ for a bed in the shared room.
Beds, toilet, bath and kitchen was very clean and nearly new.
Would like to stay here again ☺️

When we arrived there there was no one there, backdoor was open with lights on, called inside and no answer.
It's very hard to come in with a motor home, NO LONG VEHICLE ACCESS
Had big troubles coming in and had bigger ones getting out again after not even staying there. View was nice but the place just looked dodgy

We absolutely loved our 1 night stay here on the farm.
We stayed in one of the cabins which had a stunning view over the countryside. The place has character - not just a soulless motor camp! The owners are super friendly, and we ended up enjoying our dinner whilst watching the rugby with them! Highly recommended.
