  • Got kicked out of another freedom parking site in the middle of the night, so ended up at this one.

Plenty of space and no noise. Perfect easy lot to park at.

  • Overlooking a large playing field.

Only toilet is in the next car park but perfectly ok. We made friends with 2 other camper vanners so it was a great place to park up for the night.

  • Bay of Plenty has gone out of their way to provide some excellent Freedom Camping locations.

Unfortunately this isn't a good one and I would highly recommend taking the 20 minute drive to Dotterel Point. The views and atmosphere will reward your efforts.
