Napier Aquarium is the best place to see Kiwi!
They were running around, squawking! Well priced and the perfect size with a brilliant combination of information to read and animals to watch.

We had a good family fun morning here.
Watching the sharks and penguins being fed. Staff put on a good show. Loved seeing the Kiwi birds too. Next door to a great playpark on the beachfront.

Even though it does not look to be very special from the outside, this place offers a lot of knowledge and interesting traits about the deep ocean, especially the consequences of environmental pollution

I really enjoyed our visit to the aquarium.
They had a great variety of aquatic animals - my favourites were the fire bellied newts!

We spent almost two hours there primarily because of watching the penguins and marine turtle.
There are quite a lot of things to discover for kids, but if you are still kids at heart, you will enjoy it here.

The staff are really friendly.
But too expensive for what you get. $82 for 30 minutes of snorkelling with really, really small sharks. Not enough space for the fish and other animals.

Good if you want to see New Zealand's Underwater World.
Some animals had a bit small living spaces but mostly okay. Also really cool to see the kiwi bird.

We go inside to see the kiwi's at the nighthouse - very cute.
But the fishes looked not very good and happy - not enough space for all the animals (sharks, penguins etc), price and info's good.

Had a good time with two kids here.
A tank of real coral was an unexpected treat as was the blue penguins.

Really nice and interesting exposition with salt and freshwater aquariums, undersea tunnel with sharks and mantos, reptiles.
Unfortunately second exposition with ocean mammals was closed.

Very nice our experience.Fine rooms, fine fish and a good show from the fish feeding diver.

Small but informative, and lots of different animals.
Giant squid was cool - so was the big Sea Turtle. The kiwi exhibit is the main draw.
