Owerpriced.
25$ per person/night. Everything is old and not really nice. The suitable price would be maybe 10$. Showers are not include in price. The owner should be really mean person. The only good thing is a nice personal there.

We should have invested the money for the camping site better in the Irish pub.
At first sight a nice place. Kitchen and bathroom dirty. The only advantage was an electricity connection. But for $60 a night for two people pure rip-off. Only recommended Fifa you cant find anything Else.

Very old and cleanliness is average.
This app says they allow dogs but they officially don’t. When I questioned the camp owner/manager he became a bit grumpy and let us stay with our dogs anyway (along with the other 4 dogs already there). It’s not bad but wouldn’t stay here again.

Living a bit stressy life in the Netherlands I arrived here for one or two nights on a tour around the Coromandel.
But I simply couldn’t leave because I felt so relaxed here. I stayed for 4 nights but I could have stayed longer. It is so peaceful here, I will be back. Thanks Sheryl

Very relaxed.
Small campground. Old facilities but ok and Clean.
Quiet. Road not to loud. Just 3 minutes to the beach, you could hear the waves!

Great place, awesome memories made.
Pretty bush surroundings teeming with native bird life. Lovely to wake up to the sound of tui song.
Camp manager a great guy doing his best on a seemingly tight budget.
We were very happy there for three nights on a powered site, hot showers and a short walk to the beach to cast out our lines. We will be back soon and are looking forward to it already.

Nice campground close to the beach and not far from the city centre or ferry.
Stayed there for 2 nights in van and tent. For using the showers (with warm water) you have to buy coins for 1$ - for me fair! Full equipped kitchen. All facilities are clean and tidy. Can recommend it!

Facilities a little tired but adequate.
Friendly owner. Parked on the green in clear view of wifi antenna and had excellent reception. Nice walk along the sea front.

If you’re desperate it is fine, however it is expensive, showers a bit dodgy, work on a token.
Definitely not the best we’ve stayed in.

Hidden behind a toilet block this cabin was tired and unclean

$36 for 2 on an unpowered site.
Left very disappointed, paid for showers went in the unit which is at other end of campground and shower was barely lukewarm. Kitchen very dirty and pots and pans not washed properly. Shame because owner was pleasant but way over priced for a poor quality stay.

We booked three nights and we left one night earlier.
Never ever go there, better sleep in your car!
The place is untidy and unclean, we stayed in the self contained studio no 7 one night and n 4 the following one.
Toilets, bathroom and shower both in the room and shared facilities were filthy as well as the kitchen and utensils.
I have a 2 years old and I would never go there with a small child, there is no entertainment for a child.
The price is too high compare to the quality of beds, accommodation, kitchen and bathroom facilities. Linen are charged an extra cost. Wi-fi is free for only 100mb so you can barely check your email.
The owner is arrogant and careless. When a asked to upgrade the room (and paid for it) he charged me cleaning fees even though the place was already dirty when I walked in! The curtains had holes in them and no privacy. One window was broken and couldn't be close. For $360 not worth a penny at all!
Do not ever book this place!!
