Amazing campsite and what a bargain.

$40 powered or unpowered. We were 2 people, I believe there’s a different price for solo travellers. It’s basically a big grass field where you can just pick your spot. Impeccable amenities, all quite old/simple but super clean and good hot showers and a great kitchen. There are amazing details everywhere, from the the way they painted the amenities block to the chickens and peacocks roaming the grounds, the beautiful way they’ve done the garden and the fact you can feed the lama’s. Check-in until 9 pm and the and very friendly staff!

    Lovely little place.

Nice owner, clean facilities and a well equiped shared kitchen. Some peacocks also live there which makes quite a view. Perfect stay if you need a powered site while travelling from Quenstoown to Te Anau / Milford

We just loved this place so much!

The owners, Stuart and Colleen are so friendly and helpful. You can tell they genuinely love what they do with how beautifully the campground is looked after and maintained. They do all the work themselves. Cleaning, gardening, the reception, the lot and yet when you need something, they are always there to help. It's the little touches and details of this campsite that makes it special but you'll have to stay here to know what we mean.

Thanks for the fabulous stay! We hope to come back one day soon.

Hello Brett, thank you for your review and we are very pleased you found us very kind and the facilities are clean.

We're sorry to read the peacocks want you to commit avicide! They do become quiet once it becomes dark as I'm sure you are aware but it is their nature to call to each other at night to make sure they know where each other is.

They're just doing what comes naturally to them. We love our birds and we would hate to see them come to any harm.

    It was great!

One of the best camping places we have ever been to. Love the animals and the possibility to feed them. The prices are reasonable and the owners are just the nicest people. Spent more nights then initially planned as we liked it that much and would always come back.

Excellent campsite, it was a good price.

Can’t remember now but an average of $40ish for 2 people non-powered site.

It has coin operated laundry machine, kitchen and lounge!

We found this place much more affordable to come after staying at Milford.

We checked places at Te Anau to stay on our way back from Milford but they weren’t taking calls or had bad reviews. Happy to come and find this place.
