Campground is ok, we were the only one out here so we have lots of space.
21 dollars per person powered side
1 dollar for 5 minutes showering
2/3 showers didn’t work but that was the only down side.

I like everything except the showers Tonight I put the $1 in and it didn’t work at all so I went to the next one and tried again That started with hot water but within 30seconds it was freezing cold
It’s done it to me on previous years as well
They usually reimburse but it’s very annoying

Great location right in town.
Unfortunately I don’t really have anything else good to say! The showers are unisex, which is fine, but they’re also $1 for 5 mins- the only place we had to pay in NZ. The kitchen was tiny and grubby, and smelled like bins! Nice cat though ☺️

Bathroom are unisex with low doors

Great location in the middle of town, and nicely maintained grass.
No playground for kids, unisex toilets are small and it has an expensive laundry. Lovely lady at check in!

What a little beauty.
The staff are amazing extremely helpful. Camp grounds neat tidy. Shower toilet bathroom exceptionally clean. Don’t forget $1 NZ for showers ( it lasts 5 mins) close to town, shops and restaurants and pubs. We will return in the snow season.

This place is small, but nice.
Clean showers with good pressure - kidlets particularly enjoyed the colour-changing showerhead! Right in the centre of town. Good facilities. Lady owner was lovely, friendly and helpful. A bit of noise in the morning from a truck idling in a nearby location? Not a big deal though. Recommend and would stay again.

Fantastic place close to town which we took advantage of.
We headed to the 3 pubs on a very snowy evening to drink wine beside a warm fire.
Camp kitchen was well stocked. The lounge and bathrooms were very cold in saying that they were very clean. Convenient and clean, what more can you ask for a overnight stay. We loved it and the hostess was very friendly.

No real complaints, apart from I think I paid about $20 to pitch a tent.
I was wrecked cycling in and didn't feel like going back to the cheaper place. It's a nice site and well maintained with a good kitchen.

We stopped here towards the end of our 2 weeks traveling around New Zealand and it is by far one of the cleanest and nicest for the price places we have stayed.
The lady who greeted us at reception was so lovely, welcoming and helpful. We had lots of room for our campervan in a nice courtyard, there are very clean amenities, coin operated showers, shared kitchen and dated but useful guest lounge . There's a 2 minute walk into the centre of town and the Mt Hutt bus picks you up right out the front. We would stay here again .😊😊

This is an excellent small camping ground close to town.
The sites are spacious and sheltered. When we checked in we were given useful information and made to feel welcome. Good spacious bathroom facilities and comfy tv lounge.
