The location is beautiful.
However, I can’t abide the 4-minute shower timer. Not long enough if you need to wash your hair. You have to stand in the freezing cold and wait 2 minutes before being allowed to start the shower again. Made me and the kids pretty miserable!

Beautiful large site overlooking a bay.
The stars at night were incredible as there was virtually no lights.
I was lucky as i arrived just after Queens birthday weekend...and there was only one other camper staying. So i felt like i hadthe whole place to my self.
I didn't end up using the facilities, but the dump station area was easy to access on your way out.
Lovely lady at reception also who gaveme some great advice on what to do in the area.

Large campground in a quiet, scenic location.
The facilities were a bit old but clean and spacious. WiFi didn't reach our campsite but that's hardly a big concern when you have such lovely waterfront views to enjoy!

Great little spot, had a site with an amazing view of the bay.
Would recommend this place and would stay again. Only downside for us was the showers weren’t hot enough and not much space to change afterward and nowhere to put your clean clothes or toiletries inside the cubicle. Very clean and tidy camp though and a fantastic pub within walking distance that served huge delicious meals with delightful staff.

Spacious council owned site with pleasant managers.
Flat and well drained the sites are roomy and have a nice outlook over the bay. No shelter on a windy day though so if it's cold... it's cold.
Facilities a bit vintage but clean and well maintained. Nice recreation area with BBQ, kitchen area, tables, lounge seating and TV. 4G available for your cell.
Why would you? Perfect for visiting Banks Peninsula; clean, tidy and well serviced.
Why wouldn't you? You don't want to stay on Banks Peninsula.
Mark-downs? Nothing to whinge about here.
Return? Yes I would return.

Stayed in unpowered site directly overlooking the water.
Great location, great facilities although the kitchen can be a bit small for so many campers. It has washer and dryer for $2 each. Showers that worked great and had a timer. They even have a tennis court and they can lend you the rackets if you need them. Amazing stay.

What a fantastic campsite.
Next to the sea at the head of a beautiful valley, not crowded (we went mid-Feb), reasonably priced, very clean facilities, friendly staff, quiet. What more do you want? We intended to stay one night - stayed three!

From the camp site you have a nice view on the bay.
Lots of permanent campers here. The facilities are a bit outdated but clean. You’ve 6 minutes to shower. Tip: do your laundry here, as the washing machines and dryers are only $2 each.

What a gem of a place!
We had great views of Duvauchelle Bay. All the ammenities at this holiday park are super clean and tidy. We've been in many a holiday park in the past 2 weeks of travel and this one has stood out by far. Great value and an even greater location.
