    Lovely camping ground.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean facilities finished with tile and lovely feature walls The kitchen is well equipped . only a short walk to a Cafe and Tavern with delicious meals. We are going to bring our family back here every chance we get, this is our favourite holiday spot.

    Nice friendly campsite.

$18 for 1 person in non powered site. Facilities very clean. Helpful host on arrival explained a few points of interest and walks in the area and checked if I was going north or south before recommending further afield brochures. Good place to stopover when passing though or if you have a caving trip booked as I do.

All in all, a good site.

$15pp for tent camping. Hot showers included, and use of a very good kitchen area with utensils provided, and fridge/freezer. Unfortunately we had constant torrential rain. We, and another fellow camper, tried to dry our tent in the seating area within the kitchen building in the morning but the man working there very abruptly told us to remove our tents and showed no empathy whatsoever for the situation. (The other camper was a cyclist and was completely soaked through, tent included.) The man's attitude was shocking, and tainted our stay. Worth a visit, and good value for money (except the man!).

    Nice little spot.

We were welcomed on arrival. Unfortunately, the the kitchen closed at 9pm and there was no access to any drinkable water after that. There were no taps to fill caravan.

In the morning we were abruptly asked if we were staying another night, when we said no, he said to leave by 10am. Would not return.

Campsite is genuinely small, not spectacular and a bit plain.

Highway is nearby. The facilities were basic and a bit worn out.

5min past 10am (check out time) we were strongly reminded that we had to leave now, even though there was hardly anyone else there. Wouldn’t go there again.

Got welcomed in by a lovely friendly woman, more than helpful.

Amenities nice and clean. Heavy rain over night causing us to take somewhat longer to pack up. Once tent packed up, going to have breakfast at 10-30 we were abruptly kicked out by an older woman, being told we were delaying the cleaner, although we could carry on using amenities if we paid another night!!! There were several other people still having breakfast, who were quite upset & shocked by the hospitality given. If we were using a room I’d understand. Being a Kiwi myself, I am embarrassed, this in not what we are known for...
