We had a wonderful stay.
They were very friendly. At that price range I was expecting some sort of exaggeration in the descriptions however we were more than pleasantly surprised. Gorgeous area, lovely pools and a very tidy, clean and charming hotel room. It was a superb place to holiday with little kids and we will definitely be back for longer next time.

Really glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us, Phil and Dianne. We try to keep everything looking as clean and smart as possible -both inside and outside - so thanks for noticing! The park is under new ownership as of November last year, so there are lots of little plans afoot to update the facilities - hopefully you'll notice these next time you come to stay! We'd love to have you and your friends back another time.
Have a great week!

Unfortunately we don't have WiFi at the park, but we're surrounded by beautiful nature, a natural spring and forests instead! Hope to see you guys again in the future.

This is the most beautiful site we’ve had on our month long holiday through the North Island, with the bush outlook and crystal clear stream, great for a cool dip!

We were looking for peace and quiet, and we found both.
This place is a little piece of PARADISE! We had our campervan parked on well-manicured lawns and right next to a most beautiful babbling stream which meanders through the whole property. The sights and sounds were just lovely. We enjoyed the well-marked walks in the rain forest, and just sitting by the stream and reading. We spent a lot of time in the thermal pools, which were emptied and cleaned each day. The facilities around the pools - bathrooms, change rooms and barbecues were modern and clean. Thank you to the staff, who were very friendly and helpful, happy to stop and have a conversation but at the same time, busy maintaining and improving the facilities. I think the bathroom facilities are new - they are modern, clean, airy and spacious. There was lots of room between us and other campers. The whole facility was large and well-planned and spread out. We planned to stay one night and instead stayed 5 (out of our 14 day holiday) - we couldn't find a reason to leave.

The park is set within the bush so you can go for a walk or run. A river runs through the park. The park has free wifi and decent shower and toilet blocks with a communal kitchen and laundry, although the washing machines are quite dated. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed there for 2 nights in a motel unit.
The new owners have only been there for a short time but have already made many changes to a previously run-down camp site. The grounds are immaculate and the facilities are very clean. It is a real retreat with several bush walks and a number of really quiet spots. The temp of the pools are perfect and because the pool is being replenished constantly there is no chlorine smell when you get out. The owners are really friendly and helpful. We would like to return again and I know that there will be many more improvements to come. A perfect place for families.

New Owners are great- have already made big changes in the month since they owned it. new linen, new carpet, cut down trees to let in more light.
Beautiful pools, great bush walks, tyre swing into the river a must. glow worms at night are cool and a free treat for the kids.
We stayed in the house that can sleep 12 - this make for a resonsable price and the pools are included.
