Very well appointed in all aspects.
We have a self-contained campervan so took a powered site and did our own cooking in the van, but we did enjoy the nice hot showers there. They have a 5-min button, which was just enough time for me to wash my hair, add conditioner, etc. a nice place to stay and we'll go again.

Didn’t need to book, just called ahead to ask if there was space and there was.
Good facilities and close by town. Wifi seems good. Plenty of cooking facilities available.

Paid $68 for 2 people at a non powered site.
Fine campground with all the facilities you need including dryers and ironing. No complaints but poor value for money.

Was not able to book via rankers/homepage directly, only on request was possible.
Facilities are nice and clean.
Sites are big.
But close to the road, so noise in the morning.
No close access to the lake (walking distance for a short swim)

A decent holiday park with clean facilities, but the playground is quite small and tired.
I feel it is overpriced compared to what is offered (even within Taupo which feels more expensive than the other places we visited in NZ)

Decent little campground in a nice setting.
Little bit away from the town but it's nice. Clean facilities, nice receptionist. Pretty sure I remember free WiFi which is always a bonus. Would recommend

Very nice place and compared to other campsites near by only 29 dollars.
Close to the street, but you won't notice. Extremely nice and welcoming host, even got a welcome gift. Toilets, showers, kitchen all good and clean.

This is a big holiday park with lots of space!
Nice hot showers and laundry facilities. My only complaint would be that it’s right off a busy road and we could hear traffic all night.

Paid $52 per night for a 2 person powered site (no unpowered available).
The facilities were dated but clean enough. There is wifi, but unusable slow.
Swimming in the lake is a short drive away. Friendly manager.
It's okay, but in my opinion not worth $52.

Really nice staff and close to the town centre.
It has all the facilities you need, and a decent amount of showers, however it is very dated.
Perfectly serviceable for a night, however I didn’t choose to extend my stay beyond that.

Brilliant park!
Clean and spotlessly tidy with the best camp kitchen you will ever see! Nice hot free showers. Very friendly and house proud staff. Highly recommended.

Very good facilities, exceptionally clean and well organised.
Friendly staff. 5 of us on motorbikes and tents loved it. Only complaint, it is a tad expensive. Oh and the Taupo public information office don't seem to notice it exists. We found it by fluke.
We remember your group, great to have you staying with us. Glad you enjoyed our clean facilities and appreciated our friendly staff. Look forward to seeing you all again (in fact one of your group has just stayed with us recently!)
