    Excellent campground.

I stayed one night mainly to visit the nearby Trounson Kauri Reserve, but this campground was stunning in its own right. Marvelous facilities, including tame eels to feed in the adjacent river (meat only), and glow worms at night under the bridge. Even a mini bush walk, kids swimming hole, and old-style flying fox. Would gladly visit again in a heartbeat.

One of the most beautiful campsites I’ve been.

It’s low season right now and there’s only a handful of people here. There’s a nature walk on the campsite for the kids (and nature enthousiasts) and includes some kauri trees as well. The glowworms are nice to check out right under the bridge along the wall - we were there around 6:45 pm right after dark. The eels are waiting for you at their designated spot for you to feed them!

Beautiful surroundings, feeding the eels and seeing the glow worms at night we’re great for the kids. Great playground, clean facilities, nice little nature trail on the campground itself.

Probably the prettiest holiday park I’ve seen, tucked in the bend of a stream with native birds, eels, glow worms… Immaculate facilities, friendly, helpful staff, and great WiFi.

    Excellent camping place!

Clean, well maintained, in the nature. There would be a lot to see around - glow worms in the night and eels around the camping ground. Very friendly owner!

Kitchen, hot shower, living room with fireplace, cooking herbs, barbecue, laundry, WiFi, laundry... I would definitely come again!

Beautiful location set amongst native forest.

The Manager let us choose our site since there were hardly any other campervans at the time. Good facilities and free hot showers.

Superb hosts given we had 50 people stay for a family reunion.

Tracey made sure our stay went smoothly and offered our families the rent-a-tents when wild winds hammered our tents. Our kids loved the rope swing into the river even when it was cold. The private units near the entrance were superb for the large family gatherings and long nights. Caring and kind staff and definitely a place to stay on your trip when heading north. Thank you team Kauri Coast. Loved every minute even with the wild weather.

Honestly the coolest place to stay at any time of the year.

A slice of nature in the wilderness. Great facilities, awesome cabins and beautiful camp-site. The tubing on the river is so fun and staff super lovely.

Thanks so much for all the great times over our 4 stays so far!

    Fantastic cruisy holiday park.

Nice clean facilities. Lovely hosts. Great place to stay so close to the lakes and the kauri forest walks. Plenty of eels to see. Tubing is so much fun in the summer and there’s a great playground for the kids. Have stayed here a few times in a few of the different cabins and always had a great stay. Will be back for sure.

We were here on low season, so the Parc was half full.

I don’t know if the facilities are enough if really full.

Great location to make holiday with kids. The river around is amazing, also activities close to the Parc.
