Very small campground, small places, on a pretty busy street, not very suitable for children.
Didn’t stay and went to another one.

Great place to stay.
The owner was really helpful and friendly, and the facilities were kept really nice. The pool was also a nice touch. Would stay again.

Save, clean and neat facilities.
Martin is, like every body else said, a very informative and helpful person. Thank you for waiting for our late arrival.
The falls are beautiful too and walking distance.

We had a good stay at this location.
Camper Van $25 per person but worth it if you want clean and well maintained facilities. The owner made an effort to explain all the local attractions in detail.

Campsite unpowered is $22, while the powered one's is $25

The place is very basic and very expensive - we paid $44 (+2% for credit card) for two adults in off peak season.
The showers and toilets are in separate buildings which is annoying, and are essentially in sheds so are very cold, and not super clean. The shower was barely worth it, however it was free. There is a pool, spa, and TV room with books. Would not go back unless I had to.

Very nice and clean facilities with everything needed.
We loved the pool & spa.
Owner is nice and obviously loves this area, maybe a bit too much. Gave us the complete advice and tried to get us to stay more during 30 minutes, problem was we just wanted to rest after a 4 hour drive. I must reckon the guy has nice advice to give and to listen to even if he told me my trip-plan was stupid twice :D
We would definitely go back there if in Whangarei area.
Moreover, less than 3 minute walk from the falls.
Free 250MB/person which is enough for 1 night.

It's a very nice place!
The owner knows a lot about the area, and can tell you about what you should see. We only stayed there for one night, but we would have loved to stay their more. There is so much to see and the park has everything you need!

This is quite a small property and sites are cramped.
Small common area and small kitchen. Showers (2 Male/Female) are free. Washrooms are small and cabins not self contained. No supplies for sale. On the plus side it's close to town.

The warden is very nice and informative.
Price really high ($48 for 2 adults and 2 infants). Only 1 refrigerator, only 1 toaster. Washing machine was too expensive (wash $5, drying $7). Nice and free BBQ. 300 MB free WiFi. Toilet and showers (free) clean.

Lovely little campsite with friendly owners.
We stayed for two nights in our campervan on a grass pitch with electricity, water and a nice wooden table and chairs.
Owners were extremely helpful in suggesting things to see and do around Whangarei. We visited the Whangarei Falls which are very close, in walking distance as well. The Abbey Caves are a short drive away. I would recommend staying here, the facilities are clean and tidy.
