Lovely waterfalls.
We were there in summer so it was great for swimming below the falls. We also did the walk down the path to the fairy pools to swim there too. Well worth the visit.

Rainbow Falls is a beautiful site to visit.
the walk is easy on well maintained tracks and walkways. Some of our group took the swim and climbed up behind the falls for a real upclose view. It had rained for three days prior to our visit and the water was really flowing. We got there early in the morning and had the entire place all to ourselves. it was very peaceful

Very pretty walk, only short but led to a nice waterfall where we stopped for a picnic before heading back.

Worth a visit!
Very scenic! Be sure to go to all the lookout points including the track to the bottom. If you are daring you can climb along the rocks at the pool at the bottom and get behind the falls but be careful of slippery rocks.

Only a 3 minute walk from the car park.
One of the most impressive falls in NZ.
We were there during heavy rain, so the falls were even bigger and faster than normal. The pool was nearly twice as big.
Don't try to go behind the falls during or after rain.

Make sure you have a look from below. You can walk on the left side and go behind the waterfall, but be careful and don't be stupid! :)
