The man at branch 280 Great South Rd, Auckland started off helping me but once he realised I called the wrong branch, he started shouting.

He said, "you called the wrong branch, call the right branch" and he hung up.

How rude!

I was upset so called him back but he just said, "I'm serving 3 other customers" and hung up again.

Very poor telephone technique.

Our flight arrived after close so we given instructions on how to collect the vehicle Park N Fly.

34 day hire ex Auckland

The chap at the desk grunted "ID" handed me an envelope an said your car is out there in that direction as if I was a hinderance to his afternoon 30 minutes later I found the vehicle and was able to start our holiday. I was not asked for any contact phone number as my Australian mobile did not roam and I purchased a NZ sim card for the trip. Fast forward to the end of the I must say a trouble free trip & drop off of the vehicle I was a day late but it was an honest mistake and was greeted with "Oh you are dropping of the day late vehicle" to which I promptly admitted was my fault and apologized. We were ushered away quickly to our accommodation that service was fantastic and the gent driving us was very friendly and helpful only 5 minutes away and by the time we got to our accommodation I received the new charge for the extra day that I offered to pay for at the counter but was told no we will charge the card on file…and also a “Smoking in vehicle fee” I promptly contacted the office and was gruffly brushed off and was told that several staff “out the back” had smelled smoke in the car. I feel as though they got rid of me so they could charge the fee. I am 58 years of age I have never smoked in my life my wife is a smoker but has never even smoked in our home or any cars that we have owned. I said the lady on the phone that they saw my wife get out of the vehicle when we arrived and lit a cigarette as she had not had a smoke since we left Tauranga that morning why would she smoke in the car when there is a decal on the dash. I have hired vehicles from Pegasus several time over the years due to the staff and service being fantastic but I do feel that in this hire I will no longer be a client and will definitely be advising all my travelling friends & family to steer clear if this is what they call customer service!

The Manager assured me that everthing would be okay when I rang him regarding the pickup time and emails were confirmed and as promised we were picked up immediately from the airport at Christchurch.

He was very organised in sorting out the paperwork with me in case of accidents or breakdowns and any queries we might have, numbers to contact him if we had a problem. Explained everything about the car in case we were unsure. The car was clean and tidy. They were very friendly, polite and professional in how they handled their business. We were very happy with Pegasus and would use them again and recommend Pegaus to our friends.
