The insurance company will cover any remaining cost (providing the policy terms and conditions have been met). |

The bond is fully refundable provided the vehicle is returned on time, on the correct date, and to the correct depot, undamaged, with a clean interior, and with a full fuel tank. The bond may be retained for a short period after the hire to cover the cost of un-notified damage, infringements, or damage to third parties or their property. Once a refund is processed, it may take five or more business days for the funds to become available. Bond: On pick up of your car, this amount will be held on your credit card for 5-30 working days, depending on your bank and card type. If the customer is using a debit card and is on Stress free plus, we will hold $300 security bond to cover any infringements, tolls and additional charges (vehicle damage excess will remain $0). What is bond? A bond is a dollar amount entrusted to the campercar company by the hirer. It covers costs for vehicle/equipment damage or if the conditions of hire are not satisfied. The bond is made available to the campercar company in such a way that it is immediately accessible should they require it (cash transfer, credit card authorisation etc). The bond authorisation is arranged at the beginning of the hire period and cancelled or refunded when the transaction is completed. |
