We did the 4 day guided walk of Queen Charlotte Track together with Family members ranging in ages from late 50's to early 70's.
Our guide was fantastic, accommodation at Furneaux and Punga Cove was excellent, Portage Lodge a little tired looking.
I would recommend and rest day in-between day 2 and day 3. Organization and staff was excellent.

The Marlborough Sounds Adventure Company organised our walk on the Queen Charlotte track.
Everything worked seamlessly from the moment we arrived at their office to the moment we picked up our luggage four days later. Highly recommended.

We did a half-day kayak trip on the sound, guided by Lars.
He did an excellent job of leading the excursion, from explaining the proper kayaking techniques, to introducing us to the native wildlife, to having great answers to all of our questions. He also did an excellent job keeping the group together. The day we went, the water was slightly rough, and when one kayak was repeatedly struggling, he went so far as to tow them for the last part of the journey. We had a thoroughly fantastic time the whole trip!

Great 5 day guided hike (4 days hike, 1 day kayak) on the Queen Charlotte sound.
Carry a day pack, they get your bag to each destination by boat. No mishaps. Great trail and views. Lodges and food were excellent. Our guide, Harry, is a kiwi classic!

Kayaking is much fun and can be a nice sport.
You have to be a bit lucky with the weather, but it can also be funny with some wind. We had some bad luck, because we have had a whole in our kayak, so we had to stop some hours earlier, but still good equipment.

Kayaking from Picton to Queen Charlotte Sounds.
Equipment was a little frayed & used but this was end of a long season. Guide was excellent & how can you knock the scenery? Would have liked to kayak further out on track.

Imagine the adrenaline of mountain biking and the feeling of being a top a ridge, viewing one of the most spectacular landscapes you could imagine.
That's what i had the pleasure of experiencing when i cycled the Queen Charlotte track a week ago, courtesy of MSAC. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it, although the uphills are difficult there is no doubt you are rewarded when you get to the top and have a stretch of downhill ahead of you through many different terrains. The whole trip went without a hitch, due to much prior planning and organisation from the MSAC staff. Would do it again any day many thanks.

What a wonderful walk and thanks to the MSAC we had the best time.
Accomm and luggage transfers worked well and our daily packaged lunches were great. MSAC offered a package to spend an extra day at the Portage which we spent kyaking around the beautiful coves having a fabulous time. Thanks MSAC great memories.

What a marvellous experience to walk the Queen Charlotte track.
We were well prepared by the excellent staff at MSAC who informed us of what to expect. I had organised the trip for 8 Australians and felt so proud to be able to showcase this spectacular part of my country. From the outset the MSAC staff could not have been more helpful by keeping in touch throughout the year prior to our walk. Even as our numbers increased they worked hard to accommodate us and our individual needs (even to the extent of a gluten/lactose free walker!). We loved the lunch on that first day. Sincere thanks MSAC
