The 30 metre falls are often described as the most beautiful in the country. They lie near the famous Waitomo Caves. Spectacular!

It is a short walk to a stunning view. We did not expect it to be so big and beautiful and were overwhelmed.
A short walk to these falls which were nice but I would skip them if you are short on time.

Beautiful falls, easy access to the lookout but very muddy access to the river.
For me the nicest waterfall! Short access.
Glad we walked the short, well maintained trail to the beautiful falls. Loved that we were able to walk to the bottom of the falls and get drenched by the mist.
Amazing waterfall, great place to explore
What a great place to visit - very well maintained track, by DOC. guys working there, also told us about Natural Bridge, and Ruakuri Bush Walk, both just up the road going towards Waitomo Caves - we started at Marakopa end, and all 3 get a 10/10 All 3 are free, and well worth the walks.
This is the most beautiful waterfall I have seen on the North Island. It is stunning & free!
Situated on a long winding road, the falls are majestic + only a 5 minute walk from the carpark.
A short 5 minute walk to an amazing waterfall. And there's nobody there!
Thanks to all the good people working for the NZ Department of Conservation - for all your hard work - making NZ more beautiful, accessable and healthy! Cheers 😍
