The only reason I’m giving a 9 is because the spas were closed for maintenance and I was gutted otherwise what an awesome campsite!
Reading other reviews I saw there were issues with spacing but we found it fine, your not in each other’s laps and it looks pretty well thought out.
Best showers on our trip!!! Warm and toasty!! Kitchen was great with a selection of dvds and good set up for cooking.
Location, it’s not right in town but I believe they have a shuttle and otherwise had everything we needed.
They parked us by the little nippers playground and little dude had a ball on the slide.

We got a nice powered site at the top witu good views. Showers clean and powerful. We paid $39 for a powered site for 2 on the THL deal. It's a bit of a walk into the town itself but otherwise a great site.

Nice stay. Sites are well marked! Good facilities, even a wash station with vaccum to give your van a second youth. Helpful staff. Would stay again !!!

Absolutely amazing staff - they’re SO helpful. The campgrounds are beautifully kept and the facilities are wonderful. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!
These are nice accommodations in the heart of Wanaka. The sites are spacious, kitchen is clean, and bathroom was clean and had plenty of stalls. The ladies at the office were very friendly and gave us great suggestions for our hikes in the areas. I would recommend to anyone traveling through Wanaka.
Place is nice and clean, facilities are very good and you have unlimited hot showers which is brilliant!! It’s a nice campsite however surrounding views are relatively boring, there are 3 campervan sites which have a bit of a view but otherwise you’re just looking at the rest of the campsite.
Lovely site with great facilities- that's all that needs to be said
Wanaka TOP 10 Holiday Park responds:
Awesome, thank you! We aim to provide clean facilities & all inclusive apart from the laundry which is coin operated and the use of our spas & sauna which are open daily from 4-9pm and are $5 per person, per day. We hope that you enjoy the rest of your time around NZ just as much as you have here with us at Wanaka Kiwi.
I don’t understand all these good ratings. The place is small and literally everything is smashed together. You have absolutely no privacy. And I would strongly avoid to have a tend there.. there is a 10 square meters place for tends next to a big chalet and super close to many caravans. And big parking spot is right next to this tent area.
This is the worst place to spend the night in beautiful NZ. I regret we went here :(((((((
Plus you pay quite a lot.. No less than 49 dollars for a tend area.
Wanaka TOP 10 Holiday Park responds:
Hi Lucie, we apologise that you did not have a great experience at our park. It is hard to read such a brutal review about the park, however we take your criticism seriously and always look for suggestions to improve. We are aware that our tent area is small, as described on our website. We currently have 8 sites for small tents and from the 1st of April we will be reducing this to 7 sites. Each site ranges in size from 30-36 square meters. The alternative is to remove the tent area all together, but we feel offering a handful of tent sites, is better than none at all. We are always happy for people to view the tent area first before choosing to stay or not. On the night of the 6th of March, we did unfortunately have a booking in the House, that arrived with multiple cars, which is unusual and we will investigate how to better manage this in the future. Please contact us directly, I would really welcome the opportunity to discuss with you.
